I am interested in teach so I got this book to see what I could glean from it. I was rather happy when the preface stated, “this book is written in a language as free from technical terms as is possible”. Upon reading it however I now wonder what they meant when they penned that statement. The writing language and style are the pits! It’s drab with everything flowing into each other with no breaks and this makes for boring reading. It’s badly presented.It is an unusual book that is not easily understood. I was hoping for so much more that would help me on my quest of being a teacher. I must give kudos however for the questions at the end of each chapter which are helpful, thought provoking and interactive.

The preface says it all - this is a book about psychology. And a lot of ideas that appear to be contrary to reality...oh wait, it's psychology.
